MG Metro
From AutocadeMG Metro. 1982–90 (prod. 120,197 plus 21,968 Turbo). 3-door saloon. F/F, 1275 cm³ (I4 OHV). MG octagon returns after a two-year absence in May 1982, but as a marketing exercise to distinguish lesser Austin Metros from this performance model. A-series engine developing 72 bhp, or 93 bhp in Turbo, launched 1983. Facelifted in 1985 as with other Metros, but production ending 1990 as Metro was revised for a third time and all models wound up wearing Rover badges.
