MG 7. 2022 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door sedan. F/F, 1496, 1986 cm³ (I4 DOHC). MG brings back the 7 as a svelte, fastback sedan. Announced in 2022 with orders taken late that year, deliveries commencing June 2023. Turbocharged petrol units at launch, with nine-speed automatic mated to 2·0 with 261 PS on tap. Frameless doors, rear spoiler that moves depending on vehicle speed, sport seats, and four exhausts, adding to the sporting appearance. Wheelbase at 2,778 mm; 18- and 19-inch wheels at launch. Digital instrumentation (10¼ in) and central screen (12·3 in) inside; panoramic sunroof and 14-speaker Bose audio among available features. Limited slip differential and electronically controlled suspension.
