Lotus Éclat (Type 76). 1975–80 (prod. 1,954). 3-door coupé. F/R, 1973 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Fastback 2+2 version of Élite, though suffered from corrosion problems. Similar mechanically to Élite, but lower ratio. Four variants offered, with cheapest model featuring a Ford four-speed gearbox and steel wheels; others had Lotus five-speeder and alloys. S1 tag given retrospectively. Éclat Sprint in 1977, a limited-edition model.
