LTI TX4/Shanghai Maple TX4/Englon TX4/Geely Englon TX4. 2007–17 (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon. F/R, 2360 cm³ petrol, 2499, 2776 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Update of black cab, but with the distinction of Chinese production under various Geely-owned brands, first with Shanghai Maple, then with Englon, then Geely from 2014. Name intentionally meant to convey memories of the FX4 taxi. Body-on-frame construction. Front double wishbones and solid axle with Panhard rod at rear. VM Motori diesels for the UK, but Chinese models had the option of a Mitsubishi 2·4-litre petrol. Positioned more as a luxury car in China, with plenty of extras. With LTI going bust, Geely bought the assets from the administrators.
