JAC iEV7S. 2018 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 39, 42·8 kWh electric. Electric version of JAC Ruifeng S2, and badge-engineered in China to offer Volkswagen a quick way into the EV market (q.v. Sol E20X). Similar to JAC iEV6S, also based on S2, but with bolder grille and improved tech. Range of 280 km claimed from ternary lithium batteries. Chinese-developed fast charging system, vastly improved over iEV6S’s, with a full charge in 1·5 hours (7 hours over a regular household 220 V current).
