Innocenti Turbo de Tomaso. 1983–90 (prod. n/a). 3-door saloon. F/F, 993 cm³ (I3 OHC). Innocenti switched to Daihatsu power, installing a turbocharged version of its triple for its high-performance model on the BMC Mini platform. Adopted the slanted nose and new rear end, but with the bonnet scoop and big air intake. Good for 72 PS (68 PS on later catalyst versions) and 165 km/h, with 95 Nm of torque. Torque later upped to 106 Nm. The 1988 models were updated slightly with new instrumentation, and received the Daihatsu CB61 unit.
