Honda Avancier (ホンダ・アヴァンシア) (TA1/TA2/TA3/TA4). 1999–2003 (prod. n/a). 5-door wagon. F/F, F/A, 2254 cm³ (I4 OHC), 2997 cm³ (V6 OHC). Technically an Accord wagon, on the same platform as the US version, with the same engines, but only sold domestically. Similar in concept to the later Opel Signum, with limited boot space but generous rear legroom, with options of rear privacy glass and retractable centre table. Four-wheel-drive model with larger bumpers, larger tyres, roof rails, and raised suspension. Four-cylinder at launch, V6 from 2000. Mid-term changes 2001. Not successful, and Honda opted to focus on the Odyssey.
