F/F, 1997 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1997, 2258 cm³ (I4 DOHC). “Pillared hardtop” version of Ascot, based on the underpinnings of the earlier Accord. Smoother styling, and built in two widths: two-litre models with 1,695 mm width for tax reasons; 2·3 (engine from Prelude) with 1,710 mm. Four-wheel-steer option. Smaller range after mid-term changes in February 1994. Related to UK-built Accord of these years.
