Mitsubishi engine, developing a healthy 145 kW, and economical, too (6·6 l/100 km claimed). More attractive styling than Dongfeng’s 2010s efforts, and more than a class up from the S500. Wheelbase a whopping 2,900 mm, with width at 1,900 mm. Seven-seat configuration inside, with 43 storage spaces around the cabin. Well thought out, and comfortable. Ventilated, heated seats in first and second rows. MacPherson struts at front, non-independent trailing arms at rear, made for a smooth and responsive drive. L2+ assisted driving.
