Ford Thunderbird. 1983–6 (prod. 610,367). 2-door coupé. F/R, 2302 cm³ (I4 OHC), 3797 cm³ (V6 OHV), 4942 cm³ (V8 OHV). Thunderbird gets its mojo back with aero-look coupé (C_d 0,35), though on Fox platform as before. Four-cylinder model was turbocharged, with limited-slip differential and larger wheels, though it was not that great a performer given the 3,000 lb-plus kerb weight; power upped to 150 hp (152 PS) for 1986, when V8 received multi-point fuel injection.
