Ford Puma (BX726)
From AutocadeFord Puma (BX726). 2019 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 998, 1496 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 1499 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). B-segment crossover revived the Ford Puma nameplate, with a front end slightly reminiscent of the previous model. The similarities stopped there, as the 2019 Puma became a five-door SUV based on the Ford Fiesta Mk VIII, but a mere 30 mm higher. Longer and wider than Fiesta, with more space than a Focus. Styling led by George Saridakis. Mild hybrid (48 V) on the three-cylinder 1·0 brought carbon dioxide emissions down to 96 g/km. Positioned above the EcoSport. Good handling without sacrificing ride, but interior had some cheaper materials. Larger 1·5 petrol unit from 2020.
