Ford Mondeo (CD542). 2022 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1999 cm³ (I4 DOHC). While Ford withdrew from the CD-segment passenger car market in most countries, it continued with the Mondeo in China, on the C2 platform. Launched March 2022, as production of the previous model wound down in Spain. Maurizio Tocco-headed Australian-based design team tied in the Mondeo with the Evos, with rear Mustang-inspired lights. Wheelbase up 104 mm, overall length up 63 mm to 4,935 mm. Width up 23 mm to 1,875 mm; height also up 19 mm to 1,500 mm. Ultra-high-definition screen inside, at 1·1 m width (12·3 in LCD instrumentation plus 27 in control screen), shared with Evos; Ecoboost turbocharged engine.
