Nissan engines and made by Nissan Australia at its Clayton plant, as part of the model-sharing plan imposed by the Australian government. Dull and not particularly successful, with so-so build quality. Larger engine only in final years. Outsold by Pintara, and eventually killed off when Nissan Australia closed its doors after taking one gamble too many. Sold alongside Ford Telstar TX5, now a premium import.
