From AutocadeDodge Dynasty (C-body). 1988–93 (prod. 112,438). 4-door sedan. F/F, 2507 cm³ (I4 OHC), 3301, 3778 cm³ (V6 OHV). Boxy replacement for 600, with appearance out of step with the aero look then popularized by the Ford Taurus. Sold as Chrysler Dynasty in Canada and México. Related to Chrysler New Yorker (1988–93) and the plusher Fifth Avenue and Imperial. OHC four proved too weak for the large body, V6s are adequate. Softly sprung, with body roll, and not that wide considering its luxury pretensions, though this platform could trace its roots back to the earlier K-cars. Compared with Dodge Monaco (1990–2), Dynasty was old hat.
