Daihatsu Tanto Exe (L455S/L465S). 2009–14 (prod. n/a). 5-door sedan. F/F, F/A, 659 cm³ (I3 DOHC). Tall, five-door kei sedan, also badge engineered as the Subaru Lucra from 2010, and same platform as the basic Tanto. The sporting model for both ranges was dubbed the Custom. Roomy for the size, but relatively unsuccessful. Lighter than Tanto, aiding performance and fuel economy. Mid-term changes in 2011, with improved KF engines, to help fuel economy. E:s technology later that year, again for economy reasons.
