Rocky nameplate revived for a small SUV, badge-engineered as Toyota Raize, the first car on the DNGA (Daihatsu New Global Architecture) platform. Shown at Tokyo 2019. Much lower than original Rocky, and similar length (under 4 m). Three-cylinder turbo mated to CVT gearbox; torsion beam at rear; torque distribution on 4WD models. Modern technology, including rear cross-traffic alert, and in-car wifi tied to sat-nav, linking Daihatsu Connect suite of services.
