From AutocadeDaewoo Kalos/Chevrolet Aveo (T200). 2002–12 (prod. n/a). 3-, 4 and 5-door sedan. F/F, 1150, 1498 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1399, 1598 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Small car from Daewoo with ItalDesign styling but questionable safety record, particularly in Australia where it replaced the Opel Corsa C, scoring two stars in Australian NCAP testing instead of Corsa’s four. Dull econobox selling on price. Hatchbacks dubbed Kalos V in Korea. Four-door notchback sedan (Kalos S in Korea) replaced by Daewoo Gentra in 2005. Badged variously as Chevrolet Aveo, Chevrolet Kalos, Pontiac Wave, Holden Barina and Suzuki Swift+. Production ended in Korea and most countries in 2007, though continued in India as Chevrolet Aveo U-VA alongside the Daewoo Gentra (badged Chevrolet Aveo).
