Chevrolet Impala (W-platform). 2006–13 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 3510, 3880 cm³ (V6 OHV), 3564 cm³ (V6 DOHC), 5328 cm³ (V8 OHV). Similar formula to before, but with the addition of a V8 for Impala SS. Good ride, and V8 noted for performance; comfortable up front though rear accommodation leaves something to be desired. Plasticky interior. No models really that agile, not even SS, and car felt dated alongside Japanese competition for most of its run. Fuel economy poor on V8.
