Changcheng M4. 2012–15 (prod. n/a). 5-door sedan. F/F, 1497 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Follow-up to Florid with a more bluff front end, going away from its Toyota clone roots. Always with the faux SUV addenda, Changcheng having found that the Florid Cross variant sold well. Despite its age, M4 sold well, too. Miserly on fuel, far too much cheap plastic inside, unsettling ride and harsh engine, but roomy for front passengers (even tall ones), and highly manœuvrable for its targeted urban drivers.
