Ecuador’s first home-grown brand, built by Aymesa, offering models based around the GM T-car (Opel Kadett C et al). The cars were in fibreglass, and replaced by a licensed version of the Brazilian Chevrolet Chevette. With GM taking a stake in Aymesa in 1982, the company tended to offer products under the Chevrolet marque thereafter.
