Buick splits Excelle and Verano into two separate body lines, with Verano gaining a fastback style (C_d 0,27), steadily gaining popularity in China. Positioned slightly above Excelle, with base engine a turbocharged 1·5 generating 124 kW. Engines revised in 2019, with 1·5 cancelled in favour of 1·0 and 1·3.
