Tidy, well engineered replacement for 02 Neue Klasse models, starting successful line of sporting saloons. Larger and heavier, with 323i slower than 2002Tii initially. Cabriolet with rollover bar by Baur sold officially through BMW. Carburettor models less powerful; injected models more desirable.
