Wider A6, with longer wheelbase, though roughly the same length as before. More aerodynamic, with a base C_d of 0,26. Some of the larger models’ gadgets brought down into this model line, including Audi’s head-up display and MMI (interface). Parking sensors even on base model. Double wishbones up front, multilink at rear. Not as rewarding to drive as BMW 5er-Reihe (F10); some reports went so far as to say uninvolving. LWB saloon launched in China early 2012. Facelift in 2014.
