From AutocadeAston Martin DB7Z Zagato. 2003 (prod. 99 approx.). 2-door coupé, 2-door convertible. F/R, 5935 cm³ (V12 DOHC). Very rare coachbuilt Zagato version of DB7, recalling earlier collaboration with the Italian company with the DB4 GT Zagato. Zagato cues such as double-bubble roof and shortened tail, but mechanically identical to Aston Martin DB7 Vantage. Front structure identical to stock DB7 to save on safety retesting. Much shorter wheelbase (60 mm reduced) with shorter overhangs. Strictly two-seaters. Boot does not open conventionally, so no shut lines at rear spoiling the deck (the bootlid drops down). Output 435 bhp. Ninety-nine cars produced, plus one pre-production model retained by Aston Martin.
Marque: Aston Martin | Predecessor: Aston Martin V8 Zagato q.v. Aston Martin DB AR1
