Acura CDX. 2016–23 (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1498 cm³ petrol, 1993 cm³ petrol–electric hybrid (I4 DOHC). Luxury version of the Honda Vezel (RU), with a longer body but only a 2,660 mm wheelbase, sold exclusively in China. Launched as a strong contender in the B-segment, with premium interior and high equipment levels, and the 1·5 turbo competed well against rivals, with 182 PS on tap. Good handling and an improvement over the Vezel, despite the same set-up with MacPherson struts up front and torsion beam at the rear. (Shock absorbers and other parts of the chassis were improved.) Fairly roomy inside, with extremely comfortable seats. Sporting A-Spec model from 2020. Deleted when Honda withdrew the Acura brand from China. Depreciated heavily on the second-hand market.
