Off-roader with almost as lengthy a history as the original Jeep and Land Rover, and arguably better built than either brand. Originally called the Toyota Jeep before the threat of a lawsuit; the Land Cruiser name was concocted in 1954. The SUV choice in the toughest places on earth, from the Australian outback to wherever the UN has a mission. Smaller Prado spun off from the main range in the 1980s.
