Rolls-Royce Ghost (RR04). 2009 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon, 4-door LWB saloon. F/R, 6592 cm³ (V12 DOHC). “Small” Rolls-Royce, taking the company downmarket from Phantom super-saloon, while retaining brand’s values and exclusivity. Steel body. Name meant to recall earlier, famed Silver Ghost. Platform related to BMW’s F01 beneath the 7er-Reihe, but wheelbase, track widths unique. Some parts (air conditioning, some electronics, some brake and suspension components) shared with BMW, though these are not visible to the everyday user; twin-turbo V12 (putting out an impressive 563 bhp) does not appear in any other model. Less bulk than Phantom, meaning more of a driver’s car, but quiet and refined as one would expect from the brand.

Manufacturing location: Goodwood, West Sussex, England

Marque: Rolls-Royce | Predecessor: Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph
