Smart Forfour (W454/WME454). 2004–6 (prod. approx. 102,800 sold 2004–5). 5-door saloon. F/F, 1124, 1332, 1468, 1499 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 1493 cm³ diesel (I3 DOHC). Short-lived small car based on the Mitsubishi Colt (2002–), and built at the same Dutch factory. Handled slightly better but feedback poor at the base level, improving with larger engines. Essentially a Colt with fancier looks, less headroom, plastic panels, and a more expensive price. Lots of storage space.
