Simca 900. 1962–6, 1970–7 (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon. R/R, 844, 944 cm³ (I4 OHV). With the increase in the Simca 1000’s power to 39 PS, the old 36 PS unit went into a low-spec model called the 900. A 900C with 39 PS was offered in 1963–4. The range was absorbed back into the 1000 line in 1966. Spanish production of the 0·8-litre 900 began in 1970. Twin-carb 900 Special from 1973.
