Mahindra XUV300 (S201). 2019 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 1197 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 1497 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Well equipped subcompact SUV on the Ssangyong Tivoli platform, with quick if somewhat uncommunicative steering and good grip. Hard plastics inside, and the audio system not the best, but otherwise one of the most competitive in the segment in India at launch. Taller and wider than Tivoli, but shorter, keeping length at under 4 m to fit into a lower excise tax bracket. Electric model called XUV400.
