Datsun Go. 2013–22 (prod. n/a). 5-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/F, 1198 cm³ (I3 DOHC). The return of the Datsun name to passenger cars after an absence since the 1980s. Mostly Indian-developed small hatchback to rival Hyundai i10 (PA), targeted at first-time buyers. Interior similar to Nissan March (B02A) and engine shared with that model, though developed separately using Indian suppliers and vendors. Critical R&D and engineering done in Japan. Priced at Rs. 4 lakh for base model in early 2014. Go Plus (Go+) wagon from 2014. Indonesian production to 2020, replaced by Magnite. Never put much of a dent into Maruti sales and discontinued in 2022.
