Favourable start for fourth-generation LaCrosse, with a price drop compared with outgoing model, though still priced above mainstream brands. Same wheelbase (2,905 mm) as before (but still longer than Accord and Magotan), but shorter overall length (4,996 mm). Impressive 30 in array of screens inside plus the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip with intelligent architecture, similar to the Cadillac CT6’s but smaller at a slightly lower resolution. Luxury seats with massaging functions on flagship Avenir model. Refined inside with decent power from 2·0-litre turbo. No electric version, seemingly out of touch with buyers.
