Third-generation X1, and one of BMW’s strong sellers. Enlarged grille, more aggressive appearance than before. Squarer shape and more vertical tailgate, and overall dimensions (length, width, height) growing. Front-wheel-drive proportions more noticeable. Modern interior, with digital instrumentation screen (10·25 in) next to the 10·7 in multimedia touchscreen. Some buttons have disappeared, incorporated into the screen, including air conditioning, navigation controls, or changing driving modes, though voice commnands work. Good-quality plastics inside. Reasonable interior room for four. Very refined on the move, with a good chassis.
