Still some issues with body roll, and handling and ride not as good as the likes of the [[BMW 3er-Reihe (E36)]] or its successor, which débuted the same year. Safe in the Swedish tradition; reliability tended to be average. Platform went eastward in 2010 to BAIC, which launched its [[Senova D50 (2014–17)]] off it.
