Oldsmobile Cutlass. 1968–72 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 4-door hardtop sedan, 2-door coupé, 2-door hardtop coupé, 2-door convertible, 5-door wagon, 5-door LWB wagon. F/R, 250 in³ (I6 OHV), 350, 400, 455 in³ (V8 OHV). Oldsmobile’s version of the GM intermediates, related to the Buick Skylark (1968–72), Chevrolet Chevelle (1968–72) and Pontiac LeMans (1968–72). More durable and better appointed than the Chevrolet or Pontiac, and on a par with Buick. Shorter overall than its predecessor, but weight increased. Wagon on a 121 in wheelbase initially, shared with the Vista Cruiser, but moved to the 116 in one, matching the sedans’, for 1971.
