F/R, 803 cm³ (I4 OHV). New Austin OHV engine from the Minor’s competitor, installed after Morris and Austin merged into BMC, taking over from the old MM from between 1952 and 1953. Improved fuel consumption and more torque. Traveller estate and commercial versions introduced 1953.
