Touted in the American media as an upscale Prius, HS (for Harmonious Sedan) actually based on the Toyota Avensis (T270) platform. Less aerodynamic than Prius, with Cd at 0,27 (Prius is 0,25). Design strangely proportioned, with hints of Toyota Allion (T240) in C-pillar. Shortcomings balanced by luxury and comfort. Handling not particularly up to par, but extremely refined. Related to Toyota Sai.
