Hongqi E-HS3. 2019 to date (prod. 1,709 for 2021 only). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/R/A, 52·5 kWh electric. Hongqi gets into the luxury compact crossover market, with two entries—a 344 km or a 407 km range model. Considered pricey and sold poorly, with monthly sales dipping into the dozens by 2022. C001 petrol version developed afterwards in order to boost sales.
