GAC Trumpchi (廣汽 傳祺/广汽 传祺) GA3. 2013–14 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1325, 1598 cm³ petrol, 1495 cm³ electric–petrol hybrid (I4 DOHC). GAC extends the Trumpchi line into the C-segment with a compact sedan, with a 2,620 mm wheelbase. Distinctive styling, with Volvo-like front end, mesh grille and hidden rear door handles. Roomy interior well appointed though quality could be better on initial test cars. GAC talked up the GA3’s handling on the strength of the original model. Good ride and handling, excellent steering feel and precision. Later twinned with GAC Gonow Emei, which was badge-engineered as the GA3S.
