Ford Expedition (U553). 2018 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV, 5-door LWB SUV. F/R, F/A, 3496 cm³ (V6 DOHC). A new F-150 meant a new Expedition. Body on frame, four-wheel independent suspension, and boron steel and aluminium construction. Very spacious inside, and comfortable. Turbo V6 with plenty of power and acceleration, but poor fuel economy. Plenty of bulk and slow steering, so not the most manœuvrable. Mid-term refresh for 2022 model year. Long-wheelbase model now called Expedition Max.
