Ford Escort EXP. 1986–8½ (prod. 225,000 approx. incl. LN7 and EXP). 3-door coupé. F/F, 1859 cm³ (I4 OHC). Returning after a brief hiatus, EXP now had the Escort badge added, as well as that model’s new grille from the 1985 model year. Larger engine as well, with different outputs depending on model, but no turbos. Quality still behind Japanese competition.
