A designation often used for Fiat’s smallest car, though in the 2010s, it covered a greater number of models, including a mini-MPV and a crossover. Began prewar with a car nicknamed Topolino, one of the smallest cars in the world. The new 1957 model was an iconic Fiat small car, so much so that the 2007 500 aped its styling. In between, there was another 500, though its badging always read Cinquecento, its name in Italian.
