Dodge Omni 024
From AutocadeDodge Omni 024/Dodge 024. 1979–82 (prod. unknown). 3-door coupé. F/F, 1716, 2212 cm³ (4 cyl. OHC). Attractive coupé version of Dodge Omni, without much resemblance to the hatchback sedan. A de Tomaso version was sold in 1980, but differed from the base 024 only in trim. Not actually that sporting: a case of style over substance. Larger engine from 1981, when ‘Omni’ tag dropped. A Charger package was offered from 1981, and eventually the cars were renamed for 1983 as Dodge Charger. Twinned with Plymouth Horizon TC3, and spawned the Dodge Rampage pick-up.
Marque: Dodge | Successor: Dodge Charger (1983–7)
