Citroën C1.jpg

Citroën C1. 2005–14 (prod. n/a). 3- and 5-door saloon. F/F, 998 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 1398 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC). Rebadged Peugeot 107 with few differences other than lower entry price and equipment level for base model. Not that distinctive for a Citroën though Donato Coco-designed lines fairly cute. Good gearbox, steering, handling, though ride and noise harsh; tiny boot. No direct predecessor though it could be said to continue the spirit of the Citroën LN: small and looks like a Peugeot. Facelift in 2009.

Manufacturing location: Kolín, Czech Republic

Marque: Citroën | Model: Citroën C1 | Successor: Citroën C1 (2014–22)

q.v. Peugeot 107, Toyota Aygo (B10)
