1971 Chrysler Valiant VIP.png

Chrysler Valiant VIP. 1968–72 (prod. 11,813 sold). 4-door sedan. F/R, 3684 cm³ (I6 OHV). Chrysler introduces another Valiant, but with a larger body and longer wheelbase, now at 111 in, based on the Dodge Dart (1967–9). More power than regular Valiants, with 127 kW (SAE) at 4,200 rpm, and slightly more torque, at 297 Nm (SAE) at 2,400 rpm. Ultimately replaced by Australian-bodied Valiant, which continued the VIP name.
