Revision as of 01:18, 29 March 2013Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue (C-body). 1990–3 (prod. 44,423 for 1990 only). 4-door sedan. F/F, 3301, 3774 cm³ (V6 OHV). Long-wheelbase version of standard New Yorker, sharing the platform with Imperial but with less extreme overhangs. Hidden lights again, with 3·3 V6 for the first year, 3·8 added in 1991, but neither unit was a willing performer. Well equipped and roomy overall, though poor handling and not that quiet. Facelift in 1992. Lengthy warranties for the time: a five-year or 50,000-mile limited warranty and a seven-year, 70,000-mile powertrain warranty.
