2006 Chevrolet Vectra Élite.jpg

Chevrolet Vectra/Opel Astra H. 2005–11 (prod. n/a). 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 1998 cm³ (I4 OHC), 2405 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Up to 2005, the Brazilian Chevrolet Vectra was simply a rebadged Opel Vectra A or B, but that year saw a new model unique to the market, developed by Chevrolet do Brasil. Based on stretched Opel Astra H platform, built only in Brazil till October 2006, when the Opel Astra-badged version was announced at the Istanbul show. Astra H hatchback sold as Vectra GT in Brazil from May 2007, part of this series. Mechanically no different from regular Astras, so good handling, and wheelbase stretch results in more competitive rear legroom. Brazilian sales to 2012, though continued as Opel Astra Classic in Poland (q.v.).

Manufacturing locations: São Paulo, Brazil; Gliwice, Poland

Marque: Chevrolet | Model: Chevrolet Vectra | Predecessor: Opel Vectra B | Successor: Daewoo Lacetti (J300)
