Conventional C-segment car, roomy with 2,660 mm wheelbase and 1,820 mm width, and Chang’an was confident enough in the quality to offer a 100,000 km, four-year warranty. Styled at Chang’an’s Torino design centre, with Stefano Carminati given the credit in media. Better interior than earlier models, with good quality and comfortable seats. Performance and economy well balanced with Chang’an’s Blue Core engine, delivering 92 kW with consumption of 6·2–7·5 l/100 km. Five-star safety rating in Chinese C-NCAP tests, the first Chang’an car of its own design to reach this level. Rival to Emgrand EC7, Changcheng Tengyi C30 and Roewe 350. Turbo 1·5 from 2014, with 170 PS (125 kW).
Marque: Chang’an | Model: Chang’an Eado | Successor: Chang’an Eado (2017–) q.v. Chang’an Zhishang XT
