Bizzarrini 1900 Europa
From AutocadeBizzarrini 1900 Europa. 1966–9 (prod. 5). 2-door coupé. F/R, 1481, 1897 cm³ (I4 OHV). The idea of mating a shrunken GT Strada body with Opel GT running gear sounded like an appealing way of producing a junior supercar. However, it cost little less than its V8 cousin, making the Europa rather poor value for money. But with independent suspension and disc brakes all round, it was poised on the road. That wasn't enough to find success, and production faltered after a handful were built—making the Europa a rare and interesting sports car curio that commands big money when one makes it onto the open market.
Marque: Bizzarrini
