Australian version of the Wolseley 1500 and Riley One-Point-Five, sharing sheetmetal with the former initially. High local content. Profitable for BMC Australia, allowing the company to proceed with an improved Series II, apeing American styling and having some similarity to the Farina saloons. Replaced when BMC Australia repositioned its marques (Austin for family cars, Morris for small ones), and the Morris Major took over this sector.
